Chad has said Metatraffic will not be reprogrammed for .aspx. But since .asp pages will still run on a .NET-capable server (like Windows 2003), then the answer is yes, it will run okay.
But you will not benefit from some .aspx-specific things like the caching of precompiled script pages.
