Summary Report - by period, in HTML and CSV

Hi Chad,

Perhaps you could help save some webmasters from having to manually create complete summary reports (combining ALL MT reports) for their, ...ummm, ...more "maintenance intensive" clients - every day, week or month.

I'd rather send the site owner or client to the MT login page, tell him to login using an account that won't let them break anything (this is an EXCELLENT new feature in 2.0 by the way!!!), and give them a one-time instruction to click a (pre-configured) button so they could retrieve a COMPLETE summary report (of everything from summary and page views through robots, etc.) for periods such as daily, weekly and/or monthly period - viewed in normal HTML output, with optional CSV Export.

The background for this suggestion is simple: One of the (too many) administrative tasks I have to manage for one client in particular (using MT) involves going through each section of the MT stats reports for him each month, and exporting each separate report to individual CSV files, and then combining them all manually to send them. After a few months, I then also remove the data. No problem letting webmasters still be the ones to manage storage and DB "pruning", but if there's any possible way to ease the ability of site OWNERS (not always the same as webmasters) to get a COMPLETE set of MT reports for a day, week or month, in ONE pre-configured click, many many webmasters with dumb and/or lazy clients would thank you immensily :)

By the way, also THANKS FOR THE GREAT OPTIMIZATION!!! I'm using this on a site that gets about 1M page views per month, and your new data-storage routines now allow me to let the stats collect for 4 to 6 MONTHS before I even have to worry about DB space - where before, instead I had to closely watch the DB size and remove data every 4 weeks on the dot. HUGE savings in DB storage... very much appreciated!

Best regards,

TK
