On one of my sites beeing tracked with MetaTraffic2 I created a new user (administrator) and deleted the old one...
But now it can't change the website name in the configuration.
I tried creating a user with the original name and grant him Administrator access but without any luck.
It keeps on responding:
Configuration update failed. Details:
Description: Permission denied
What do I do..?

The username in MetaTraffic won't affect whether the configuration can be updated or not. This sounds like a file permission issue on the config.asp file. You need to ensure that the config.asp file has write permissions with the IUSR_machinename account.
