MetaTraffic Lite v2.20 was released today. The release includes a new feature allowing a time offset for time zone adjustments. The countries and definition data have also been updated. An updated Pro version is coming soon.
There are a couple of other changes with MetaTraffic Lite 2.20. The product is now freeware for non-commercial use; a link is no longer required although it is appreciated. Javascript tracking is now the primary and default tracking method. ASP include tracking is still supported for backward compatibility.
Because of the tracking change, robot definitions are not loaded by default in order to improve tracking performance. To load the definitions that include robot / spider definitions, you must use the definitions_robots.txt instead of the usual definitions.txt file. This file is included with the MetaTraffic lite installation package.
The above changes only apply to MetaTraffic Lite.
