I am planning to purchase a copy of MetaSun, but I need to know what demographic information is captured from users visiting pages within the site. Also, I will need to use the Javascript version as I'm using PHP - is all the same information stored? Can it still be stored in a MySQL DB?

Demographic Information
The demographic reports are the same in Lite as they are in Pro so you can always download and try out the Lite version. The demographics include country, browser, OS, langauge, etc. Other than country, regional information is not collected or compiled. This is something we are adding in a future version.
You can track your PHP pages using javascript tracking and MySql. The only thing not supported using this tracking method is robot tracking because they will not execute the client side code.
