Have you withdraw support for the user agents ?

Chad,

I posted a message, almost a month ago, and didn't get any answer so far.

Have you withdraw the support for these till version 2 is release, or will we be lucky enough to the get related RegExp strings?

So far, the system is able to determine the OS as per the user agent strings, however I still have some for which the browser isn't identified/resolved.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I can modify existing code and create new as far as VBScript is concerned, but the RegExp area is something where I'm getting lost rather rapidely, mainly because of the slightly weird syntax I guess. :(

Hi Daniel,

Doing accurate regular expressions can be very time consuming. I have been trying to focus my time on v2; I would like to address the db space issues asap.

If there are browsers or a significant robot (for example: msnbot) that are showing up a lot in the user agents report, post it and I will take a look at it when I have time. Unless there are bugs discovered though, I do not plan to do any more releases til v2.0. Any regular expressions I do come up with, I will post back on this forum and enthusiasts can add them manually. :)
