Hi there,
I have the stats tracking part working. Incredibly easy to set up. Very impressed. Unfortunately viewing the reports is not working. I have started looking at the configuration but was hoping someone has come across this before. The error I get is:
The page cannot be displayed
Thank you in advance for your help.

Good day,
Just to make it easier on people who may want to give you a hand, would you be kind enough to indicate which version of MetaTraffic you're using, which page you are on before your get the error, and what was the last action you did prior to the error error. (If you clicked on a link prior to the error, which one was it?)
Regards.

Hi There,
Thank you for getting back to me. I am using V1.3 and I was typing the url in directly for default.asp. If you put the login information in the config.asp then the login page appears and then the error page after that. However if you remove the login requirement the error page appears immediately.
Is it possible to put a password on the folder that the stats package sits in or will this break the tracker. If it will break the tracker is there a way of putting the tracking component in a public folder and the reporting component in a password protected folder.
Thank you again for your help in advance.

Hi,
Are you using Internet Explorer? It sounds like you have friendly error messages enabled and it is preventing you from seeing the actual error that is occuring. What you need to do is go to the Tools menu in IE, Internet Options, Advanced tab, and make sure "Show Friendly HTTP Error Messages" is unchecked. Then try and reload the page and see what the actual error message is and post it.
Regards,
