It appears that referrals to ARIN for IP Address resolution is no longer working. 404 errors are now being encountered whenever clicking on an IP address with MetaTraffic. It seems that perhaps ARIN has updated its URL for submitting whois requests...?
Do you anticipate having a fix for this sometime soon?

Hi, I'm looking for web analytic for my company's website and I was wondering, does Metatraffic track users' search words? Does it also track entry and exit pages? We planning on using it on our corporate intranet to track trends.

Folks are now being referred by BING.com.
However, BING is not showing up as a search engine, and referring URLs do not capture the entire search string for BING searches.
Any info on when MetaTraffic will be updated to reflect BING?

The keywords from searches are saved in the database (mt_keywords) - but some of the "foregin" characters are not saved correctly.
The user searched for Århus - but Ã¥rhus was saved in the database.
Any patch for this?

Due my host has no r/w right on the root, I installed in local a new installation of Metatraffic 2.27 MySql version 5.0.45 and ODBC 3.51. It works. Dumping the database locale and uploading on the host, MySQL: 5.0.68. ODBC 3.51.

I installed 2.27 last night. I uploaded everything to my webserver, ran through the setup.asp. Logged in fine and tested the logging of web pages. Everything logged just fine. Woke up this morning and tried to login to the display page and all it does is refresh. It does not take me to the display page. What is going on? I tried reinstalling everything and i get the same problem, just refreshes the login page...
I tried MetaTraffic with MS SQL 2005 and got next error:
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]The cursor does not include the table being modified or the table is not updatable through the cursor.
after some digging in Internet I found the solution and want to share it.
You need modify file core.asp - go to line 150 and modify connection string for MS SQL as follows:

I get this message after I setup the software on my server.

Is there anywhere that explains what all the tables and column names mean?
I know in the help text it explains what action and campaign mean, but i am having trouble understanding what all the tables are for, and what the information in the columns are because the column names are not all straight forward. Any help?

I just purchased MetaTraffic, but that may have been a big mistake... Is MetaTraffic really for IIS only? Can it be run on Linux?
Almost all scripts are Linux-based anymore, and while I'll gladly keep the script if I can make it work, I'd appreciate a refund and cancellation of my license otherwise.
